MARKET VOLUNTEERS

We will have a more clear volunteer guidelines document coming soon!

Thank you for your interest in volunteering! We will need 4-6 volunteers each week to assist in keeping the Market clean and running smoothly. A few quick details:

• Volunteers will help with setup, during the market, and tear-down

• Some jobs volunteers might do include:

  • Working the SNAP/LINK or Information Booth

  • Assisting patrons of the market with physical limitations

  • Collecting Trash

  • Setting up/Tearing Down booths and tables

  • Putting up signage

  • Giving directions to patrons interested in downtown businesses

  • Working a Good Samaritan Inn booth including Selling Mercy Gardens Produce or Do Good Donuts, or making snow cones or cotton candy

  • Taking Pictures

  • Getting Survey Responses (“Question of the Day” collection!)

  • Other jobs as they come up!

• We accept group and individuals

• Volunteers should be at least 13 to count toward our total, but you are welcome to bring younger kids to enjoy the market!

  • Volunteers under 15 must be accompanied by an adult

  • Volunteers 15-18 must have a signed parent/guardian permission form to stay at the market unaccompanied by an adult. Good Samaritan Inn will not be responsible for minors who leave the market or do not participate in the market as-agreed in the Volunteer Agreement and Parent/Guardian Permission Form.

• We can sign volunteer hour sheets

• We will have a calendar - you can volunteer once a season, or every week as spaces are available.
