This year, we are proud to feature custom-designed bowls created by members of our local community. These unique pieces are available for purchase starting at $10, with specialty designs priced at $20. Bowls are available exclusively for on-site purchase. We gladly accept credit cards, cash, and checks. Thank you for your support!

Prefer eating at home? All meals are packaged to-go in microwave-safe containers so you can eat that night or save for tomorrow’s lunch.

Dinner: HOW IT WORKS

Location:

920 N Union St. Decatur, IL 62522. Enter in SOUTH doors along King Street (where patrons enter for lunch)

Parking:

You are welcome to park in our lot or on the street if there is space. We are also permitted to have overflow parking at Grace Methodist Church down King Street from us on the corner of Church & King - Click here for a map of this extra lot - it is next to our Mercy Gardens Orchard and near their shed/garage fenced-in area.

Getting Your Meals:

Please bring your order confirmation, either printed out or on a device. If you don't have access, we will have the ability to look it up.

I'm dining in!
- If you are dining in, please park and enter through the SOUTH doors along King Street (where patrons enter for lunch). You will go through the line- all meals are pre-packed to-go, so you'll simply tell the volunteers what you ordered, sit down, and enjoy!
I'm taking it to-go:
You have 2 options:
- OPTION 1 (FOOD ONLY): PARK, then go to the walk-up window on the WEST side of the building, pick up your food, and go! NO bowls or merch will be handed out through the walk-up window.
- OPTION 2: Park and enter through the SOUTH doors along King Street (where patrons enter for lunch). You will go through the line- all meals are pre-packed to-go, so you'll simply tell the volunteers what you ordered, grab it, and head out!

FAQs

Do I have to buy food?

No! You can purchase a bowl, gift, gear, or just make a donation - you don’t have to dine!

Can I volunteer?

We do need a certain number of volunteers - contact director@goodsaminn.org or 217-429-1455 if you want to volunteer.

Are the custom designed bowls food-safe?

Yes! We recommend hand-washing to prolong the quality of the artwork.

Are the custom designed bowls microwave-safe?

No! The markers used to decorate the bowls have not been tested for microwave safety.

Am I guaranteed a seat?

We have the capacity to accommodate up to 120 guests at a time, and hope that everyone can find a seat when they arrive. If we hit capacity we may have to ask you to wait until seats become available.
